We are working with a client who is looking for a small animal Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their practice in Liverpool, Merseyside on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a small team at a newly refurbished clinic located in a vibrant area of Liverpool.

The Practice:

The clinic has an experienced and friendly team with a well-established clientele working on an interesting and varied caseload with full support from their 24hr hospital. They have recently undergone an entire refurbishment with all new facilities. The clinic works closely with their main hospital which is less than 15 minutes drive away and has a great regional network with their other clinics.

Outside work you will have great access to Liverpool International Airport which is under a 15 minute drive and just over an hour’s drive to the stunning Peak District or areas of natural beauty in North Wales, perfect for many outdoor activities. With Liverpool city on your doorstep and Manchester nearby they are ideally located.

The Role:

This is a full-time permanent position for a small animal Veterinary surgeon. The exact working pattern together with any weekend and out of hours requirements are to be confirmed.

The Candidate:

You should be a confident surgeon with general surgical and medical skills and experience in emergency surgery, capable of working sole charge at times, and with a strong customer-service focus. You will be passionate about providing an excellent service and working as part of a highly-skilled team. You will also enjoy a variety of cases and have the ability to work these up to a high standard. Enthusiasm and energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues and clients, in the best interests of your patients.
