Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon

Type: Small Animal

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to lead a passionate, professional team located in a picturesque inner-city suburb of Sydney

The Practice:

This is a small animal hospital that currently offers a full range of medical and surgical services, a free wildlife service and cat boarding. The clinic have been an integral part of the community for over 30 years. The team enjoys building relationships and has a caring approach to the client’s needs. The client base is small animals, exotic pets, birds and native animals.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the management and supervision of the financial and clinical function of the business. You will have the opportunity to really make it your own with a wide support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science + current NSW Veterinary Board Registration or eligibility for veterinary board registration in Australia
  • Proven veterinary experience within a senior role will be highly regarded but not mandatory – they will consider an experienced vet looking for the next step in their career
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Calm, compassionate, and professional demeanour
  • An ability to adapt to change
  • Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Leadership skills and team orientation

Salary:

Approx £94,000.00 Dependent on Experience
