Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon- Basildon

- You will work closely with the Clinical Director and experienced senior leadership team to deliver the best for clients and their pets.
- They offer a great range of clinical equipment, a large hospital building with multiple theatres, and a separate dental and imaging suite.
- They have a dedicated and supportive team of nurses who thrive on utilising their clinical skillset to support our vets, and regularly complete Schedule 3 procedures and nurse consults.
- Their admin and client care teams lead the front of the house, allowing their clinical teams to be with the patients. They have a dedicated pharmacy area and team which completes the dispensing tasks.
Role: Our client is expanding their team and is looking for an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join them in a new role.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week with a 1:3 Saturday rota, and no OOH
Duties/Skills:
- As a Lead Vet, you will have line management responsibilities for the vet team, so experience in leading is crucial.
- You will also be pivotal in improving clinical outcomes and working to improve Clinical governance through evidence-based medicine.
- They are looking for someone with surgical experience, who can happily consult and also support teams to manage complex clinical cases.

Salary: In return, they are offering an excellent salary of up to £70,000 per annum (DOE)
