Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon, Epsom

  • You will work with modern state-of-the-art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound with Doppler, and a growing orthopaedic kit along with separate dog, cat, and isolation wards. 
  • You will be joining an experienced owner and a talented and supportive team of 1 full-time Veterinary Surgeon, 4 RVNs, two student nurses, veterinary care assistants, receptionists, and a practice manager. 
  • They offer a supportive and progressive work environment and are hugely supportive of further learning opportunities for all of the team. The practice is also an approved nurse training centre.

Role: Due to the growth and expansion of the team and practice, our client is looking for a friendly, experienced veterinary surgeon to join their team based in the market town of Epsom, Surrey. 

Duties: The practice has a growing client base which means they see a wide variety of interesting cases! The practice offers 15-minute consults as standard but 30-minute consults for puppy vaccinations and new clients.

Hours: This role can be full or part-time - The rota is structured to be as fair as possible and to ensure a great work/life balance. 

Skills/Exp: This is a great opportunity for an experienced Vet who is confident in all routine surgical and medical cases. They are looking for someone passionate about training and developing the team. A specific area of interest in opthalmology, imaging, or cardiology would be desirable. 

Salary: Competitive salary of up to £80,000 p/a (DOE)
