Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon - Grays, Essex
We are working with a small friendly veterinary practice in the Grays area of Essex that is looking for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis. They are looking for a dedicated Lead Veterinary Surgeon to run the practice and lead the team.
This practice is close to a town centre, they have a friendly warm attitude and good customer service skills with their client (1500+) base is essential. This is a busy practice booked up with daily routine procedures including neutering and dentals. Confidence and experience in routine procedures is important. They also offer a first opinion service as well as access to CT scans, endoscopy, and X-rays at the nearby Hospital.
The Role and Candidate:
Our client is looking for a dedicated Lead Veterinary Surgeon to run the practice and lead a team consisting of one Head Veterinary nurse (HRVN) and one Student Veterinary Nurse (SVN).
This is a full-time role that will include 1 in 3 Saturdays, full details will be discussed in the interview. As the lead vet, you will be confident and comfortable in a sole charge role. Ideally, you will have a minimum of two years of small animal practice experience.
The practice also receives regular charity referrals and works closely with local feline rescue charities. They are also a proud participant in the charity C4 Cat neutering scheme. So if you have a love for cats, that is a bonus! As they see lots of cats here.
