We are working with a well-equipped practice located in the Scottish Borders that is looking to recruit a mixed veterinary surgeon to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a mixed role that will be 50% small animal and 50% large.
Our client is a well established veterinary practice and, for the last thirty years, they have provided a high level of care for both small and large animals in the region. They offer a wide range of veterinary services for pets, horses and farm animals. Due to growing demand, they have 2 fully equipped consulting rooms, a prep room, a dedicated operating theatre and a suite of kennels. Their facilities include onsite blood testing, digital x-ray, heated kennels and much more. The practice currently has 3 Nurses, 4 full-time vets, and one PT vet.
This role is to work full-time, 4 days per week, with surgeries from 8:30 am - 6:00 pm. There is a on-call rota of 1:4 mid-week and a weekend rota of 1:4 Saturday Surgery 8:00-12:30 with the rest of the weekend off and a 1:4 full weekend off, finishing Friday eve and the other 1:4 finishing Friday lunch time. Temporary accommodation available whilst you settled.
The practice is looking for a confident, ambitious Vet who is ready to join their forward-thinking team. Candidates will need to demonstrate enthusiasm, drive and a desire to deliver the highest standard of veterinary and client care. Applications are welcome from both new and recent graduates.
