The Practice:
Our client is a rapidly growing, small animal veterinary practice based in North Yorkshire. They are a dedicated practice who are committed to not only investing in state of the art equipment to give patients access to the best possible facilities, but they are also dedicated to being able to offer the best possible care for all pets through their dedicated and experienced vets and nurses. This is a brilliant opportunity to work in a supportive environment with an established team of seven vets who will be able to train and support you.
The Role:
This is a full-time permanent position for a veterinary surgeon. The exact working pattern is to be confirmed along with any out of hours requirements. However, the weekend rota is 1 in 7. You will have a varied caseload as the mixed practice has 75% small animal, 15% large animal and 10% equine. The role will involve plenty of routine surgery, consults, open surgeries, farm work on beef, sheep and dairy, plus first opinion on equine.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will either be a new graduate or have a couple of years’ experience and a driver’s licence. Good communication skills are a must, alongside confidence and a can-do approach.
