Permanent Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon - Paisley

Location: Paisley, Renfrewshire

Practice Type: Part of a group

Team: 18 Vet, two-site practice. Certified ophthalmologist and acupuncturists on staff and weekly diagnostic imaging specialist visits

Facilities: Up to date dental equipment and DR dental radiography, in-house lab, ultrasound, digital X-ray

Hours: Full-time

Weekends/OOHs: 1 in 9 weekends on, then Monday to Friday overnights with a full week off afterward giving an additional 5-6 weeks off per year

Sole Charge: No routine sole charge, 2nd on-call, and senior Vet back up OOH when needed.

Branch work: TBC

Salary: Competitive salary, dependent on experience

CPD: Close links with Glasgow University and SAC. Frequent in-house and locally arranged CPD (out-with generous 5 day/£1750 CPD budget) to suit your skill development. 

Skills/Exp: Some small Animal experience is preferred but not essential as there is an experienced team of Vets and nurses on hand for support and guidance. Up to date dental equipment and DR dental radiography, in-house lab, ultrasound, and digital x-ray at each site. Cert. Ophthalmologist and acupuncturists on staff, and weekly diagnostic imaging specialist visits.
