Permanent Mixed Veterinary Surgeon - York

We are working with a mixed animal practice in the beautiful county of North Yorkshire that is looking for mixed Veterinary Surgeons to join them on a permanent full-time basis. The practice is based within 20 minutes of York the Roman & Viking capital of the North of England.

The Practice:

Our client is an independent veterinary practice dedicated to providing an excellent standard of care. With fourteen Veterinary Surgeons, qualified Veterinary Nurses, and experienced support staff behind the scenes, they offer a comprehensive 24-hour service for pets, farm animals, and horses.

They have been supporting the farming community for over thirty years and work with farms of all sizes in Yorkshire and well beyond. They specialise in cattle, sheep, commercial pig, and poultry and work closely with clients to provide advice on preventative medicine, health, and productivity.

They provide a caring, comprehensive, and personal service to pets and their owners. They are proud to have been accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons since 2005 and regularly undergo re-inspection so you can be sure of continued high standards of care.

They also offer a complete mobile first-opinion service for local horse owners. Their friendly vets take pride in giving a personal service and will visit clients for routine and emergency work. Whether they have a large yard or a family pony, they provide a holistic and caring approach to equine management and have excellent relationships with local equine specialists.

The Role and Candidate:

Our client is looking for confident and competent mixed Veterinary Surgeons with at least 3 year's experience to join them on a permanent basis. You will be a great communicator that is well versed in all aspects of mixed animal work, having an interest in dairy would be great (but not essential). A practical team player that is keen to contribute and willing to learn. You will be keen to work with the farming communities, developing best practices for the animals treated.

The Remuneration Package:
