Permanent Mobile Registered Veterinary Nurse - St Albans

We are working with a client who is looking for a Mobile Registered Veterinary Nurse to support their practices in the Hertfordshire area on a permanent full-time basis.

The Practice:

In this role, you will support several Hertfordshire-based practices including Hemel Hempstead, Redbourn, St Albans, Radlett, Great Denham, Flitwick, Harpenden, and Watford. This role will see you working in different environments, allowing you to gain varied exposure and learn from a diverse team of veterinary professionals. Here, you will create a large connection of colleagues, working together to deliver outstanding service and care for clients and patients. The rota will reflect the needs of the region, you may be required to support two practices during the same week, this will be communicated accordingly.

The Role and Candidate:

This role covers 40 hours a week with a fair share of weekends included in the shift pattern. The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a busy team and possess the confidence to work alone when required. You should have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and should be happy to get stuck in wherever needed. The successful RVN will become a Clinical Coach for Student Veterinary Nurses and Patient Care Assistants. Therefore, ideal candidates will have some experience of clinical coaching and/or providing mentorship. As well as your day to day duties within practice caring for your patients and clients, you will have the drive and ambition to develop the practice, optimising the client and patient experience, promoting safety while training, developing, and leading the entire nursing team. You'll also be proactive in maintaining your own professional and clinical skills, carry out accurate and timely reporting and explore ways to further develop standards. As an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse, you'll already have good knowledge of how a dynamic practice runs efficiently and effectively. Sharing the values of being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you'll also take the initiative in patient welfare and have caring, thoughtful communication skills. Just as important are the leadership skills essential to enabling your team to work as one and look ahead to see how they can be even better. A full driver's license is essential for this role.

The Package:

Salary is £25,000 per annum plus £300 CPD allowance plus 2-days CPD leave, 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays, RCVS, and BVNA membership. Our client encourages growth and development within your role as well as excellent career prospects and flexibility.
