We are working with a client with a practice based in Sutton, Surrey that is looking to recruit a full-time small animal Mobile Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent basis. This role is to cover our clients' ten practices across the Sutton area.

The Practice:

The main hospital practice has recently been refurbished and is rightfully proud of its ISFM Gold Cat-Friendly status, as the practice possesses separate dog and cat waiting areas, consult rooms, and kennels. This practice also has all of the usual toys, including onsite ultrasound, endoscopy, laboratory equipment, and dental radiography. The team consists of three experienced Vets (including an Advanced Practitioner in Medicine and a Surgery Certificate Holder), six Nurses, and three support staff.

The Role and Candidate: 

Our client is looking for a Mobile Veterinary Surgeon with at least 1-year post-graduate experience to support their practices in the Sutton area.

This mobile vet role offers great flexibility and gives an excellent opportunity to be part of a close-knit network of friendly vets, nurses, and support staff. You will have an interesting and varied caseload!

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an environment where colleagues support you by sharing skills and knowledge to give patients the best outcomes. You’ll be involved in cases using state-of-the-art technologies such as MRI, ultrasound, laparoscopy, and endoscopy.

This role consists of 39 hours a week over a 4-day shift pattern, including 1:3 Saturdays/Sundays and 1:6 weekends.

You must be a Veterinary Surgeon who is registered with the RCVS, which is confident working sole charge and routine procedures. As this is a mobile role a full driver's licence is essential.

The Remuneration Package:

Our client is offering a very competitive package of up to £44,700 per annum (depending on experience), which includes accommodation allowance and a vehicle or vehicle allowance. The Benefits Package includes:
