Permanent Mobile Veterinary Surgeon - Merthyr Tydfil, South East Wales
We are recruiting on behalf of a busy small animal practice that also has three additional clinics in the local area that is looking to recruit a full-time Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent basis. They are looking for a vet with at least 2 years' post-graduate experience that is highly competent both medically and surgically, which also has the ability to work in a sole charge role if required.
This small group of practices is situated close to the Brecon Beacons and set in beautiful countryside with plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy in the area. Their busy main practice is part of a group with 3 other clinics, in the local area. They offer state-of-the-art equipment such as ultrasound facilities including cardiac probes, endoscopy, orthopaedic equipment, and much more. This is a great opportunity to work in a busy practice with a varied caseload including advanced surgery and medicine. You will work alongside a friendly team of five knowledgeable vets and an amazing support team with experienced RVN’s.

The Role and Candidate:
This is a full-time permanent role where you will be working a 4-day week with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends - no on-call required! In this role, you will be covering a group of practices in the Merthyr Tydfil area of, South East Wales, You will be mainly based between two of their practices but may be called upon to cover other branches as required to cover holidays, etc. This is a great opportunity to work in a busy practice with a varied caseload including advanced surgery and medicine. You will work alongside a friendly team of knowledgeable vets and an amazing support team with experienced RVN.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of post-graduate in-practice experience. You will be highly competent both medically and surgically and have the ability to work sole charge if required.
