Permanent Night ECC Registered Veterinary Nurse - Chichester

Due to our clients' continued growing reputation, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their modern, vibrant, independent, and family-owned practice in the Chichester area of West Sussex.

This is a permanent full-time role is for an ECC Night RVN to join a dedicated night team.

The Practice:

Based within our clients' beautifully refurbished clinic nestled at the foot of the South Downs National Park in sunny West Sussex, they are ‘more than a vets’ – a family that upholds the values of respect, humility, professionalism, and communication. They provide a personal service that their clients deserve, delivered with real empathy and care – because it is how they would want to be treated themselves.

The clinic is supported locally by our clients' hospital which they are proud to announce is currently the only independently owned hospital in the UK to have full RCVS accreditation as well as achieving outstanding status in all associated awards. In addition to this, they have 4 branches surrounding the hospital, all of which are accredited and designed to the highest standards with comprehensive facilities.

They have comprehensive facilities and equipment inclusive of ultrasound, dental radiography, digital radiography, dedicated theatre as well as separate cat and dog ward

The Role and Candidate:

The shifts will be an awake shift seeing patients that require urgent treatment alongside caring for the overnight inpatients. Each shift will initially comprise of an RVN and vet working together although staffing levels will be monitored to ensure that the workload is manageable and sustainable. Shifts are 7 pm - 8 am and handovers at both the start and the end of the shift are built into these hours.

Shifts:

The rota pattern has evolved into 3 nights on / 6 nights off pattern on an ongoing rota shared between 3 RVN's. T Annualised hours so holidays CPD time included in salary and the 3 nurses cover each others time off. Further details are of course available to all applicants.
