Permanent Night Registered Veterinary Nurse - Barnet, Hertfordshire

Practice: They are a busy 24-hour hospital with a varied caseload. They have fantastic facilities including x-rays, dental x-rays, laparoscopic equipment, hydrotherapy, a full range of endoscopes, and ultrasonography. 

Team: Currently, they have a team of 15 Veterinary Surgeons, 17 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 7 Veterinary Care Assistants, a Reception Team, and a Practice Manager. Their Vets have certificates in Cardiology, Surgery, and Small Animal Internal Medicine. Our Nurses also hold certificates in Anaesthesia, ECC, and Exotics.

Job Description: They are currently looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their night team. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, enthusiastic, want to use their nursing skills to their full potential, and are keen to develop their knowledge and skills

Hours: The role is sole charge with support from a dedicated on-call night vet. The role is 7 on 7 off but other shifts patterns can be discussed. 

Applicant Requirements:

• The ideal candidate must be registered and ideally, have experience working in a hospital or similar environment.
• Experience in working night shifts or sole charge would be beneficial.
• However, the role is suitable for anyone looking to develop their nursing skills and looking for a new challenge.
• Full training will be given in all areas.

Branch Work: None

Salary: The salary will be between £25,000-£30,000 p/a depending on experience.
