We are working with a fantastic referral specialist practice who are looking for two full-time permanent Night Registered Veterinary Nurses to join their team. The rota for this job will consist of 7 on 7 off.
The Practice:
This practice is located on a four-acre rural site in Somerset. The large, purpose-built facilities are within 5 minutes’ drive of the M5 and they treat patients referred from and throughout the United Kingdom. The practice is made up of some incredibly talented Vets, a number of whom are board level specialist and diplomates, covering oncology, orthopaedics and internal medicine. This recognition is only given to vets who have undergone extensive post-graduate training and examination.
The Role:
This is a night position and is to work 7 on 7 off rota, working 7 pm - 8 am. As there are two roles, one is to work Monday to Monday and the other is Wednesday to Wednesday. There is a fantastic team of nearly 30 nurses who support the specialist referral vet specialists.
Your role will be looking after in-patients who are staying at the hospital.
The salary on offer is £25,600 for 0-5 years qualified and £26,280 for 5+ years. There is also 20 days holiday. You will work alongside the other vets and nurses on your shifts.
The Candidate:
Our client is looking for a nurse that has experience working nights (desirable). You will be a good team member and it is important that you can integrate into the community and with the veterinary team. A good social life, personal hobbies and a keenness to settle in a new environment would be advantageous. You must be eligible to work in the UK and have a valid driving licence.
