We are currently recruiting on behalf of a friendly independent practice in a Bury. The practice are looking for 2 Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeons to join their team. Due to the amount of emergency work only confident Vets need apply.
Our client is an independent owned small animal, first opinion practice and 24hour emergency hospital, established in the 80's. They are an RCVS approved practice, with a dedicated team of vets, vet nurses and receptionists, all of whom are pet owners themselves and understand your pet is more than just an animal; they are family members. They are very aware of the trust place in them as Vets, and endeavour to treat all clients pets with the utmost care and compassion. They have retained their loyal client base over many years through excellent care and customer service and regular welcome new clients. The facilities include Digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, ECG, incubators, infusion pumps, intensive care, blood pressure monitoring.
The role is full-time starting Friday 6.30 pm – 8.30 am for 7 days and then working Saturday 12 - 10 pm then 11 days off. You will be working with a 2nd Vet until 10 pm all days, with a Nurse assistant, Auxiliary nurse and a Registered Veterinary nurse after 10 pm. You will required to look after all emergencies and inpatients, if it is quiet you will be allowed to sleep in the practice bedroom upstairs.
The ideal candidate will be confident with excellent communication skills. You must be able to work sole charge but enjoy working as part of a team.
In return, the client will be offering a competitive salary of up to £63,000 with benefits including £1500 CPD, VDS Fees paid
