We are working with a small animal practice near Rotherham, South Yorkshire that is looking to recruit a Night Veterinary Surgeon on a full-time permanent position.
The Practice:
This is a 24-hour purpose-built facility with up to date digital x-ray, ultrasound and full-body CT scanner and an in house laboratory. The practice has 3 large consulting rooms, 2 theatres, a large prep area, internal lab facilities, and large learning and office spaces. They are committed to providing high quality, good value, and honest veterinary service to all pets, both day and night.
South Yorkshire is the gateway to the beautiful peak district. Once an industrial heartland, the region has been transformed and boasts excellent facilities for music, sport, culture, and outdoor activities.
The famous city of Sheffield brings a large variety of shops, places to eat, theatres, and the Millennium Gallery, where you can enjoy art, craft, and design. Here you can see some of Sheffield's unique heritage, including the metalwork which made the city world-famous, alongside contemporary art and design.
The Role and Candidate:
Our client is looking for a Night Vet to join their friendly and experienced team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for emergency and critical care and will thrive on working to a gold standard in patient and client care.
All their practices share the same software, so you will have access to your patients' history at all times; case continuity guaranteed!
This is a permanent full-time role where you will be working 7 nights on 7 nights off. This role may suit an ECC Certificate holder or someone who is working towards this - full funding will be given.
You must be a registered Veterinary Surgeon with the RCVS with experience of working nights being desirable but not essential. You must be confident working sole charge, with the ability to make sound clinical judgments.
The Remuneration Package:
In return, our client is offering an excellent package (pro-rata for part-time) that includes:
- Salary up to £65,000 p/a depending on your experience
- Accommodation allowance of £5,400

- VDS, RCVS, and BVA fees paid
