Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon - Cambridge

Location: Cambridge
Practice Type: Well-established busy tier 3 24hr hospital with a varied caseload.
Facilities: All new equipment within the practice including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, endoscopy, in-house lab, anaesthesia monitoring, and assessment equipment, etc.
Team: They are a lovely, hard-working team that strives to provide clients and their pets with the highest standard of care. Many of their clinical team hold certificates in Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, Dermatology, and Diagnostic imaging, with Advanced Practitioners in Medicine and Surgery.
Role: They are looking for a confident, talented, and experienced veterinary surgeon to join their friendly, passionate Night team.
Hours: 4-week rolling rota:
- Week 1: 7 on (5 twilights 4 pm -midnight), (2 nights 7 pm-8 am)
- Week 2: 7 off
- Week 3: 5 on (Nights 7 pm-8 am)
- Week 4: 9 off
- (This rota includes just 1 weekend in 4!)
Skills/Exp: During the night shifts there are two Vet Surgeons working until midnight, Monday to Friday, and a second Vet on call on Saturdays and Sundays. You would also be working alongside 2 Night RVN's. This is a great role with fantastic support and a good rota.
The Package:
- Competitive salary that is reflective of skills and experience - Up to £60,000 p/a
