Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon - Cambridge

We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and dedicated Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a hospital practice in Cambridge. The successful candidates will need to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, capable of dealing with most emergencies, and be able to maintain and provide the high level of patient care and client service that we already provide.

The Role and Candidate:

This hospital is running at very high standards of care as well as being well equipped to maintain these high standards. The successful candidate will join the existing night team consisting of Night RVN's and PCA's.

You will need to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, capable of dealing with most emergencies, and be able to maintain and provide the high level of patient care and client service that they already provide.

Ideally, you will be joining them on a full-time basis but they are flexible with the rota for the right candidate.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • PATIENT/CLINICAL CARE - Delivering a high level of clinical care to standards in conjunction with the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme.
  • CLIENT CARE - The delivery of client satisfaction to an exceptional level as defined by the practice.
  • TEAMWORK – Working within the Vet team and wider hospital team, to contribute your skills, efforts, and personal strengths to help ensure a harmonious team ethos at all times.
