Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Epsom, Surrey
We are working with an RCVS accredited small animal practice in the Epsom area of Surrey that is looking for enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full or part-time permanent basis. They are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and established team of 2 Vets, 3 Nurse, and 2 Receptionists.
The premises were purpose-built in the 90s to be a veterinary practice. Positioned off the high street they are easily accessible with the advantage of off-road car parking. They have disabled facilities including a designated car parking space, easy access as the building is all on one level, and a disabled toilet.
They have full operating facilities, with a prep room, theatre, and recovery room. All their operating is carried out to the highest possible aseptic standards with the latest anaesthetics and monitoring equipment.
Their surgical facilities and skills cater to every eventuality from routine neutering and minor procedures to fracture repairs and major soft tissue surgery. Their high level of surgical expertise means that the vast majority of procedures can be undertaken on the premises.
Their facilities include X-ray (including a processor), internal and external laboratories, Ultrasound, Computerised clinical records, Hospitalisation facilities, Dental equipment, ECG, and Doppler blood pressure monitor.
The Role and Candidate:
Our client's experienced, friendly nursing team requires a full or part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse, to join their RCVS accredited, Cat-friendly, 2 vet/3 nurses (FTE) small animal practice.
They have fantastic, friendly clients and their client base is growing. A full-time position would be based on a 40hr week, a part-time position would be a minimum of 16hrs per week.
They welcome both experienced and new graduates to apply.
Their opening hours are 8 am-7 pm Monday to Friday & 8:30 am-12 pm on Saturdays.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate RVN that has an interest in providing the best possible care to patients and clients. Good communication skills are essential.
The role includes all aspects of veterinary nursing, including theatre, nurse consults, and reception duties. However, if you have a particular passion for a specific area of nursing, they are keen to hear and develop this passion.
