We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse on a full or part-time basis to start at a friendly practice in County Durham.
The Practice
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. By joining the practice you will be part of a dynamic team comprising of 3 Vets, 1 RVN, 1 SVN, 2VCAs and 4 receptionists.
The Role:
The practice is seeking an enthusiastic permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full or part-time basis (20 -40 hours per week) and will be required to work weekends on a rota basis. There is no out of hours required.
The Candidate:
You will need to be a dynamic and proactive nurse with solid all-round skills and have a keen interest in nurse clinics. Key to your success in this role will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role. You will bring excellent communication skills, and relish being part of a very friendly, relaxed and social practice that prides itself on being quite family orientated.
