We are working with an independent first opinion practice based in Durham who is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a permanent basis.
The Practice:
This practice prides itself on its friendly service, gold standard care, advanced knowledge and hospital-standard facilities. They strive to provide a professional, compassionate and efficient service to clients whose animals, both companion and working, are their prime concern. They employ 28 staff across 3 branches including 8.5 Vets, 11 RVNs and 6 Receptionists. Facilities include endoscopy, ultrasound, dental X-ray, digital X-ray, laser and separate dog and cat wards.
The Role:
This is a full-time role working 5 days per week between 35-40 hours with shifts of 08.00-16.00, 09.00-17.00 and 13.00-19.00. Weekends are on a rota of 1 in 5 Saturdays 08.00-17.00 and Sundays 09.00-13.00 with time off in lieu the following week. There are no out of hours responsibilities with this role! Typical duties include admissions, discharges and theatre work. In return, our client is offering a generous package, including:-
- Salary from £18,000 depending on experience

The Candidate:
You should be a fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse and the practice are happy to consider a newly-qualified graduate as well as experienced Nurses. You should be confident in all nursing skills and have strong client communication skills as well as being a good team player.
