We are working with a lovely mixed veterinary surgery in Swindon, Wiltshire that is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full-time permanent basis. You will be joining an experienced team of RVN's that would be able to support a confident 2nd Year Student Veterinary Nurse, so if you are looking for your looking to start your career this could be the perfect role for you.
The Practice:
Our client is a small group of practices based across the Wiltshire county, they are well-established and offer veterinary services to all animals and with their main surgery attaining hospital status you can be sure that they provide the best possible care.
The practice has a caring, professional and individual approach to pet health care and with state of the art diagnostic and surgical facilities that include:
- Surgical suite
- Digital Radiography
- Ultrasound and Heart scan
- Endoscopy
- In house Lab
- Dental
Our client is especially proud of its nursing team, which is a key part of their veterinary care team. The nursing team run their own clinics, care for the hospitalised patients and assist with all surgical and medical procedures.
The team doesn’t just consist of qualified veterinary nurses, they also have student veterinary nurses, animal care assistants, kennel assistants, and laboratory technicians. Having a great nursing team helps ensure that patients receive the best care and attention they deserve.
The Role:
This is a full-time where you will be working 38 hours per week and will include a weekend rota of 1 in 8. The practice operates by appointment only consultation which helps reduce waiting time for clients and the stress on the pets.
The role will involve all elements of the nursing role which will include clinics and care for patients in the hospital.

The Candidate:
Our client is looking for a caring and professional Veterinary Nurse that is qualified and registered with the RCVS or a confident 2nd year Student Veterinary Nurse. You will be friendly and work well as part of a busy team, with great communication skills.
