We are currently working with a small animal veterinary hospital based in Nottinghamshire, who is looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. our client is looking for an experienced RVN in all areas of the nursing role.
The Practice:
Our client is a small animal hospital practice based in the Nottingham area who have been providing an excellent service to small animals and their owners for over 30 years. This is a well-equipped veterinary hospital that allows them to provide both primary and emergency treatments. With a number of branches in the local area, the hospital practice also takes referrals from them and other practices in the local area. Within their purpose-built facility, they have a wide range of equipment and can provide services including:
- New ultrasound machine
- State of the art digital X-ray machine
- Dental services
- Ophthalmology services
- On-site Laboratory
- Cryosurgery
- Chemotherapy
- Equipment available for dealing with exotic species including specialist rodent dentistry equipment, a vivarium, and a rigid endoscope for reptile and avian procedures
The Role and Candidate:
This is a permanent full-time role where you will be working 40 hours per week with a mixture of shifts including 08:00-16:00, 08:30-16:30, 10:00-18:00, 11:00-19:00, and 12:00-20:00. There will be a weekend rota of 1 in 5 which involves Saturday and Sunday 08:00-18:00. With no out of hours required this role supports a good work/life balance.
Our client is looking for an RVN that is comfortable in a role that involves:
- General nursing,
- Theatre nurse,
- Inpatient care,
- Lab work,
- Nurse consults (post covid)
