We are working with a client with a well-equipped small animal practice in Warrington that is looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full-time permanent basis. This role would suit an experienced RVN or newly qualified nurse, ready to build on their previous experiences gained whilst studying.

The Practice:

This practice is well equipped with ultrasound, radiography, in house laboratory, laparoscopy, and a separate cat clinic. The practice also has access to nearby hospital practice allowing easy access for CT scans and out of hours care.

Our client is a community of passionate veterinary professionals committed to providing truly exceptional care. They are set on building something extraordinary: creating the most forward-thinking and innovative place in the veterinary industry. Their mission to deliver progressive, around the clock care means their employees have the very best equipment and treatment options available, including in-house MRI machines and state-of-the-art operating theatres.

They provide ongoing support to their teams, both in practice and through a dedicated training centre. This empowers you to get the very best from the advanced equipment while being on your journey to veterinary excellence.

The Role and Candidate:

The ideal candidate will offer the highest standards of clinical and client care, empathy, and be willing to provide valuable peer support to our student veterinary nurses and patient care assistants. This role would suit an experienced RVN or newly qualified nurse, ready to build on their previous experiences gained whilst studying.

This role is full-time, where you will be working 40 hours per week with 1:8 full weekends with time back in lieu. The shift pattern includes shifts between the hours of 07:45-20:15 on a shared rota.

The clinic has good surgical and medical caseload, which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. You will be assisting in the care of animals and their owners. Undertaking tasks set by senior members of staff in the basic care and running of the practice. Communicating well with clients, meeting and greeting clients and their pets, and completing registrations. Monitoring in-patients, providing care, and appropriate diets. The Package:

In return, our client is offering an excellent package that includes:

  • Salary & Benefits
  • Competitive salary
  • RCVS fees paid
  • CPD leave
