We are working with a client with a well-equipped small animal practice in Warrington that is looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full-time permanent basis. This role would suit an experienced RVN or newly qualified nurse, ready to build on their previous experiences gained whilst studying.
This practice is well equipped with ultrasound, radiography, in house laboratory, laparoscopy, and a separate cat clinic. The practice also has access to nearby hospital practice allowing easy access for CT scans and out of hours care.

The Role and Candidate:
The ideal candidate will offer the highest standards of clinical and client care, empathy, and be willing to provide valuable peer support to our student veterinary nurses and patient care assistants. This role would suit an experienced RVN or newly qualified nurse, ready to build on their previous experiences gained whilst studying.
This role is full-time, where you will be working 40 hours per week with 1:8 full weekends with time back in lieu. The shift pattern includes shifts between the hours of 07:45-20:15 on a shared rota.
The clinic has good surgical and medical caseload, which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. You will be assisting in the care of animals and their owners. Undertaking tasks set by senior members of staff in the basic care and running of the practice. Communicating well with clients, meeting and greeting clients and their pets, and completing registrations. Monitoring in-patients, providing care, and appropriate diets. Assisting vets during examinations and surgeries ensuring the correct procedures are followed for the cleaning and sterilising of instruments, equipment, and materials.
