Practice: They are a busy 24-hour hospital with a varied caseload. They have fantastic facilities including x-rays, dental x-rays, laparoscopic equipment, hydrotherapy, a full range of endoscopes, and ultrasonography.
Team: Currently, they have a team of 15 Veterinary Surgeons, 17 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 7 Veterinary Care Assistants, a Reception Team, and a Practice Manager. Their Vets have certificates in Cardiology, Surgery, and Small Animal Internal Medicine. Our Nurses also hold certificates in Anaesthesia, ECC, and Exotics.
Role: They are currently looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, enthusiastic, want to use their nursing skills to their full potential, and are keen to develop their knowledge and skills
Hours: Full-time RVNs work a variety of shifts on a rota basis. Four day weeks, approximately 1 in 3-4 weekends, with time off in lieu and 4-night shifts every 12 weeks.
Duties: You will be working in all areas of the hospital from theatre, anaesthesia, diagnostics, wards inpatient care, and dispensary; with a wide variety of cases and lots of hands-on nursing
Skills/Exp: The ideal candidate must be registered and ideally have experience working in a hospital or similar environment. However, the role is suitable for anyone looking to develop their nursing skills. Full training will be given in all areas. Clinical coach training would be beneficial or be willing to complete.

Salary: The salary will be between £25,000-£30,000 p/a depending on experience.
