Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse, Bristol

Practice: A friendly Tier 3 hospital in the centre of Bristol. They have a comprehensive in-house lab, ultrasound, x-ray, and endoscopy. Although they are first-opinion vets, they have several certificate holders employed and see a wide range of interesting cases. They have inpatient care on site and host Vets Now also. They are also a Silver standard Cat-Friendly Practice.
Team: Their team consists of 17 Veterinary Surgeons spread across seven sites- the main hospital and six satellite branches. Within this team, they have one surgery certificate holder, one medicine certificate holder, and one advanced practitioner in feline medicine. They also have five vets currently studying towards certificates in various fields. Alongside their Vets, they have a team of six RVNs, four students, and two ACAs based at our hospital site, as well as additional RVNs and ACAs at some of their branches. They have RVNs with certificates in feline medicine, and one currently studying towards a certificate in ECC.
Role: They have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
Duties: You will be working at their busy Tier 3 Accredited hospital, rotating through consulting, operating, inpatient, and lab shifts.
Hours: Their nurses work four ten-hour shifts a week with a day off. There are no out-of-hours requirements as they are a vets now host practice.
Skills/Exp: They are looking for a nurse of at least one year qualified to join our hospital team. They would love someone forward-thinking and would happily support further study in areas of interest. They are a teaching hospital and would ideally like to recruit someone who would be keen to be or already is a Clinical Coach
Salary: The salary is up to£30,000p/a depending on experience.
