Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Byfleet

Due to expansion, our client in Byfleet, Surrey, is looking for a permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full-time basis.

The Practice:

They are located in the beautiful Surrey countryside, just a 20-minute walk from Byfleet centre and close to the New Haw train station, which is great for commuting to London. They have built a great reputation locally and have been awarded RCVS Accreditation as well as ISFM Silver Status Cat-Friendly practice. The practice is purpose-built to a high specification and includes Digital X-ray, ECG, Doppler and Capnograph, Dental equipment, Idexx laboratory equipment, as well as ultrasound and Laser Therapy equipment. The two Partners lead a well-established team of 2 vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 VCA, and 3 receptionists. They actively encourage and support their colleagues' learning, with 2 Nurses recently completing certificates and another currently working towards their feline certificate.

The Role and Candidate:

The hours required are full-time, 40 hours per week, with a shared weekend rota of 1 in 3 weekends, with no OOH requirement. They are looking for a qualified, or recently qualified nurse who has good general nursing skills and who enjoys variety within their role. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both clients and the team, possess a can-do attitude and have a genuine interest in animal welfare.
