Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Camden, London
We are working with a small animal practice in Camden, London that is looking to recruit a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a permanent basis. You will be joining our clients' professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.
This is a fairly new practice that has already become a busy and thriving clinic. They have a fantastic team led by the Lead Vet who is well respected in the local community and has built up a strong client base. The nursing team is made up of the Head Nurse, RVN (that's you!), and two PCA's.
The surgery is in a great location in a parade of shops, cafes, and restaurants - with a prominent shop front and spacious reception, consults, prep, and theatre. There is free parking and also easy transport links.
The Role and Candidate
This is a permanent full-time role where you will be working 40 hours per week with 1:3 half weekends with time bank in lieu. They work to a mixture of the following shifts 08:30-17:00, 09:30 - 18:00, and 11:00-19:30.
You will be included on the bank holiday rota and on-call rota, should the night team require additional support - fair share across all nurses in the region.

In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse with small animal practice experience, you put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.

The Remuneration Package:
This role offers a competitive salary of circa £25,000 p/a depending on experience, and benefits package that includes:
- £300 CPD allowance plus 2-days CPD leave
- RCVS and BVNA membership,
- 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
