Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Chippenham, Swindon
We are working with a lovely mixed veterinary surgery in Wiltshire that is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
The Practice:
Our client has a small group of clinics based across Wiltshire county. They are well-established and offer veterinary services to all animals and with their main surgery having hospital status. The practice has a caring, professional and individual approach to pet health care and with state of the art diagnostic and surgical facilities that include:
- Surgical suite
- Digital Radiography
- Ultrasound and Heart scan
- Endoscopy
- In house Lab
- Dental
- CT Scanner
Our client is especially proud of its dedicated team of 11 vets, 9.5 nurses, 4 VCAs, 2 SVNs, 8.5 Reception/support staff plus 1 Practice Manager. The nursing team runs their own clinics, cares for the hospitalised patients, and assists with all surgical and medical procedures. The team doesn’t just consist of qualified veterinary nurses, they also have student veterinary nurses, animal care assistants, kennel assistants, and laboratory technicians.
The Role:
- This is a full-time position.
- Hours: 36 hours per week Monday – Friday plus 1:8 weekends (day off in lieu).
- Weekends: 1:8 (day off in lieu)
- OOHs/On-Call: No
- Sole Charge: No
- Branch Work: Yes – covering holiday.
The Candidate:
This position would suit an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who is ‘hands-on’, competent, and has very good nursing skills and ability.
