Facilities: Their modern, air-conditioned practice is purpose-built to industry-leading standards with state-of-the-art equipment including dental x-ray, digital x-rays, ultrasound, and an in-house lab. There is plenty of onsite parking and they are ideally located close to the M4 for excellent transport links to Swindon, Bristol, and Gloucestershire.

Team Info: You will be joining the partner owner and lead vet that is supported by a dedicated RVN and non-clinical colleagues

The Role: This busy small animal practice based in Chippenham; Wiltshire is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse or an

experienced second-year Student Veterinary Nurse.

Hours: They pride themselves on being able to offer a healthy work-life balance. This could be a full or part-time role, with flexible hours and shift patterns to suit the successful candidate.

OOHS/Weekends: There will be no OOHs or on-call duties, a Saturday rota will be included that is shared between the team.

Duties:

  • First opinion nurse duties include; monitoring anaesthetics, inpatient care, nurse consults, ordering, and assisting with procedures.
  • They have visiting orthopaedic and ultrasonography specialists so there is an opportunity to assist with these cases.

Candidate: 

  • They are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude.
  • You must be able to work well independently, as well as part of a team within this busy practice.
  • They are looking for somebody who has excellent communication skills, and who is keen to deliver clinical excellence.
  • A clinical coach would be advantageous, but this is not a necessity.
