Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Cramlington

Location: The practice is 10 miles from Newcastle with all major transport links and only a 5-mile drive to the beautiful Northumberland coast.

Facilities: Their modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards with state-of-the-art equipment including digital and dental x-rays, ultrasonography, capnography, and in-house laboratory facilities. They carry out in-house CT imaging and orthopaedic surgery via peripatetic services.

Team: They are a social, vibrant, and close-knit team with a focus on work-life balance and led by their RVN partner. The team is made up of 4 vets, 10 nurses, including 2 students, 5 receptionists & a client service manager.

Hours: This is a part-time role, averaging 26.5 hours per week, which will be made up of 3 x 8.5-hour (9 am-6 pm) shifts, including 1 in 4 Saturdays and 1 in 6 Sundays 10 am-4 pm, but no OOHs

Duties: The role will consist of a mixture of consulting, theatre, prep, and hospital shifts.

You must have a good communication style and be confident in client-facing consults as patient and client care must be a priority
