Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Enfield, Hertfordshire

Practice: Part of a group

Facilities: The successful candidate will be working in a fully equipped practice with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound & in-house lab. They are also an ISFM cat-friendly practice. CPD is funded and encouraged, RCVS, and VDS fees are paid for.

Team: The team is made up of 3 vets, 1 RVN, 4 SVNs/care assistants, and a reception team. Across the Group, there are 14 vets including 2 cardiology certificate holders, surgical certificate holders, and a visiting dental specialist. There are nurses with anaesthesia, emergency and critical care, and exotics certificates at the main hospital.

Job Description: They are currently looking for a permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team.

Duties: You will be working in all areas of the hospital from theatre, anaesthesia, diagnostics, wards inpatient care, and dispensary; with a wide variety of cases and lots of hands-on nursing.

  • Full-time RVNs work a 40-hour week, which is flexible and can be a 4 or 5-day week.
  • No out-of-hours.
  • Shifts are between 8 am – 8 pm.
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays with time off in lieu.
  • No bank holidays.

Salary: The salary will be up to £35,000 p/a (DOE) pro-rata for part-time
