Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse, Exeter

Due to demand, we are currently working on behalf of a tier 3 hospital just outside of Exeter that is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis. The practice is happy to consider full and part-time working hours.

The Practice:

The practice is a first opinion, Tier 3 Veterinary hospital catering for pets across Devon. They have 2 operating theatres, a self-contained dental suite, an imaging suite, a separate cattery, kennels, and isolation wards with Gold standard ISFM cat-friendly accreditation. They also have an internal lab, pharmacy, and 5 consult rooms with separate dog and cat waiting areas. Their excellent facilities allow their clinical team to deliver veterinary care with a dedicated focus on providing high clinical standards.

The role is to join a large and supportive team of 20 Nurses.

The Role and Candidate:

The hospital is happy to consider full or part-time working hours if you are happy to be included in the night duties. Hours are Monday- Friday either 8.00-16.00, 8.30-17.00 or 10.00-19.00.

The weekend rota is 1:3 - 1:4 and one-night duty per week where you would remain on site. Time off in lieu is given following your night duties.

To qualify for this role you must be an RVN. The practice is a very supportive team that will help you ensure high clinical standards are met.

The Package:

In return, the practice is offering a competitive salary of £21,000 - £27,000 p/a (DOE) + £2,000-£2,500 for OOH duties + 5.6 weeks holiday + £550 CPD
