Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse Full or Part-time - Leigh

We are working with a friendly and welcoming practice in Leigh, Greater Manchester, that is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full or part-time permanent basis.

The Practice:

The practice enjoys close transport links to Manchester and Liverpool, and the nearby M6 provides easy access to the lakes and peak district, offering the best of both worlds. This is a small animal practice, built to industry-leading standards and with state-of-the-art equipment which includes x-ray, ultrasound, and lab equipment. They enjoy a varied caseload and have built a loyal client base within their local community. You will be joining a talented and close team made up of 3 vets, 3 nurses, 1 SVN, 1 VCA, 3 Client care advisors, and a practice manager.

The Role and Candidate:

Our client has full and part-time positions available, from 22 to 40 hours per week. Weekends are on a 1 in 4 rota basis with Monday off in lieu. For the part-time role your usual working week will be Monday 1 pm-7 pm, Wednesday 10 am-5 pm and Friday 11 am-7 pm. By joining us our client you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential including theatre work and nurse consults and will need to be a team player with outstanding communication skills. To apply you should have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare.
