Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Lambeth, Central London

Practice: Part of a group - They are a busy, 100% small animal-focused practice dealing with a wide range of routine and challenging cases in addition to their nurse clinic opportunities having grown by looking after clients, their pets, and supporting colleagues. The practice supports the group Graduate programs as well as being an RVN training practice. 

Team: The team is led by the Clinical Director and you would be joining 3 full-time vets, 2 registered veterinary nurses, 1 receptionist, 2 veterinary care assistants, and 2 student veterinary nurses. They offer support and encouragement to their team to further their professional development. 

Facilities: The surgery houses all the usual equipment.

  • Their digital x-ray (including dental) and ultrasound are all Dicom enabled and linked into the Consulting rooms.
  • In-house blood machines, multi-parameter monitoring equipment, and more.
  • Dedicated surgical, dental, and imaging areas plus separate cat and dog wards and consulting rooms.

Role: They are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their lovely, passionate team! You will assist in both consults and surgeries and with the other members of the nursing team, will continue to grow their nurse clinics. Quality clinical care for all pets and an outstanding client ethos are important to them. 

Hours: This is ideally a permanent full-time position, but they can be flexible if you are looking for a part-time role.

  • Their current full-time shifts are 40 hours per week covering Monday to Friday between 8:30 am-4 pm or 12 pm – 7:30 pm.
  • You will be expected to work 1:2 Saturday mornings between 8:45 am-12:45 pm.
  • No out-of-hours work – apart from the occasional emergency

Applicant Requirements: They are looking for a qualified veterinary nurse that is registered with the RCVS that is passionate about nursing and the growth of the role.

Salary: Up to £28,000 p/a (DOE) FTE
