Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse, Leeds

We are working with a small group of small animal veterinary practices in the Leeds area of West Yorkshire that is looking to recruit a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a permanent basis. You will be joining a team with an amazing caseload between the surgical and medical teams.

The Practice:

Our client has 4 clinics and 1 Tier 3 accredited veterinary hospital that has been providing a high standard of veterinary services to the Leeds area for over 40 years. They are continually updating their facilities and investing in equipment. They are also extremely proud of all their team and it is a credit to their commitment and compassion that they can provide this level of care to pets.

Three of the five branches have operating facilities, two of the branches can perform neutering and routine surgical procedures along with x-rays and laboratory tests. All of the clinics have fully stocked dispensaries.

The Role and Candidate:

You will be joining a friendly team of Vets, RVNs, and VCAs that work across surgical and medical teams. You will be working day shifts on a rolling rota between the surgical and medical teams - working with primary care and referral vets plus the care of animals admitted by their ECC service. They have an amazing caseload and variety of work done, which provides the opportunity to specialize in a particular area of interest

They would love to hear from nurses who are keen to use their nursing skills to the full in a supportive hospital environment. This opportunity offers exposure to a full and exciting critical care, medical and surgical caseload and is fantastic for learning, development, and progression. Whatever your level of experience, they can support you to thrive in this role. This position involves a 40-hour, four-day week with 1 in 4 weekends. They would also welcome applicants who are looking for Part-time work or weekend work only.
