Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse, New Malden

We are recruiting on behalf of a busy friendly and supportive small animal practice in New Malden, South West London that is looking to recruit a personable Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and established team.

The Practice: 

You will be joining a friendly, supportive team of 4 vets, one of which has a certificate in medicine, 2 RVNs, 1 Practice Manager (who is also an RVN), 2 Student Nurses, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants, and 5 Receptionists. They have a variety of interests within the team including feline medicine and small animal behaviour. They offer a generous CPD budget and are happy to support individual interests!

Based in South West London, close to the A3, they are situated in a lovely area with free onsite parking. They are near Wimbledon tennis and just a 10-minute walk from Raynes Park train station with direct trains into central London in under half an hour. They have great equipment including the most up-to-date in-house idexx blood machines, a new ‘laptop’ ultrasound machine, and an amazing direct digital X-ray machine which is one of the best in the whole country!

The Role and Candidate 

By joining our client you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills including theatre work and nurse consults. Being a team player is essential with outstanding communication skills, the ability to multi-task and use your initiative, and most importantly a great sense of humour! Applicants will need to possess good general nursing skills, great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare.

This is a permanent role where you will be working full-time, exact rota to be discussed in the interview.
