Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Cringleford

Our client is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. 

Role: Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse

Type: Small Animal

Location: Cringleford, Norwich

Practice: Part of a group

Team: The practice currently has 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 Student Veterinary Nurses, and 4 Receptionists. One of the Vets is a certificate holder in Small Animal Medicine, and they are keen to encourage and support further study across the practice. 

Facilities: The surgery itself is in a modern, purpose-built building with a spacious waiting area, good ventilation, and four consultation rooms including a dedicated nurse consult room, theatre, and imaging room. Also have a preparation area that allows a good view of the cattery, with kennels also close by for easy monitoring.

Hours: This is a full-time role working 36 hours per week over 4 days, including two 5.30 pm finishes and two 7.30 pm finishes plus 1 in 4 Saturdays. Saturdays usually finish around 3:00 pm depending on whether any emergencies are admitted. There are no out-of-hours in this role.

Sole Charge: No

Branch Work: No

Applicant Requirements: They are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who can work without supervision and with the experience to hold nursing clinics. They want someone who has an interest in providing a high level of care for every patient at each stage of his or her life. A willingness to build good client relationships is essential. Above all, looking for a Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team to provide great all-around care.

Salary: They are offering a salary of up to £24,697 p/a DOE
