Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Runcorn

Type: Small Animal

Location: Runcorn, Cheshire - giving easy access to Cheshire, Merseyside, and Wales along with many other locations and attractions in the North West.

Practice Type: Part of a group

Facilities: The practice is bright and spacious, purpose-built to industry standards with state-of-the-art equipment including digital X-Ray, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory facilities. It also has the benefit of a number of referral hospitals and specialists within easy traveling distance for clients and for CPD.

Role: They currently have an opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and experienced clinical team on a full-time permanent basis.

Hours: They are offering 40 hours per week including Saturday mornings on a rota basis, however, they are open to part-time hours.

Duties: Some of your key responsibilities will include working closely with the clinical and non-clinical teams, delivering the best levels of care to patients and customers, managing bookings professionally using RX Works, greeting clients and their pets for appointments whilst being sensitive to their needs, promoting a professional image and complying with policies and procedures. They are interested in your ideas and can ensure plenty of client contact during nurse clinics. 

Candidates: You will have a good experience in veterinary nursing, excellent customer service, and communication skills, be an effective team player, have a systematic approach when making decisions, and be able to carry out the role effectively with planning and organisation. You are friendly, down-to-earth, have a genuine interest in animal welfare, and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike.
