Services/Facilities: You'll be working in a practice purpose-built to industry-leading standards which has state-of-the-art equipment including a full operating theatre, in-house Idexx lab machines, microscopy, ultrasound, digital x-ray, modern dental machine, tonopen, rhinoscope, endoscopy, multi-parameter unit, isoflurane and sevoflurane. We are a first-opinion clinic with a young client base and we also complete orthopaedic surgeries in practice.
Team: The Partner and Veterinary Surgeon, studied at the RVC and qualified in 2009. He has a strong rescue background and an interest in orthopaedics and general surgery. He's supported by 4 1/2 vets, 2 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 3 VCAs, 2 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager. They aim to maintain their level of growth and uphold their reputation as a friendly and progressive local veterinary surgeon. They are looking for professionalism and willingness for integration from all members of their team in order to maintain a happy surgery spirit.

- Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for an exciting new role in St Albans?
- Our client is looking for you to join our friendly, supportive team at a well-established practice in the beautiful city of St Albans.
Hours:
- They are flexible to consider both full and part-time applications, however, please note that 1 in 3 weekends would be required regardless.
- Flexible to consider both full and part-time applicants (Full time: 40hrs per week, Part-time: 25-30hrs per week)

Skills/Experience: What they are looking for in you
- Qualified Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with current RCVS registration
- Strong passion for animal welfare and delivering outstanding patient care
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to clients
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence in handling animals and performing routine nursing duties
- Willingness to continue developing skills and knowledge through CPD opportunities

- You will assist all colleagues with duties to support the smooth running of the practice and provide the best standard of patient care

Salary: An attractive salary from £28,000 p/a (Dependent on experience/full-time equivalent)
