Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Staines, Surrey

Location: Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey

Practice: They are a spacious, air-conditioned surgery in Staines that has been purpose-built to industry-leading standards and have state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.  By joining them from the very beginning you’ll become part of a progressive surgery dedicated to providing the highest standards of care to clients and their pets.

Team: You will be working alongside three experienced Pet Healthcare Advisors, a Practice Manager/RVN, and a Veterinary Surgeon/Clinical Director. 

Role: Their nurses are the heart of the practice and so you will perform an integral clinical role in caring for patients.

Duties: Your excellent teamwork and passion for caring for your communities’ pets mean you will be at the heart of the action. Working with experienced driven veterinary colleagues you will be fully supported in developing your veterinary career whilst being able to offer Gold Standard healthcare to your patients. 

Hours: They can offer full or part-time positions.

Weekends/OOHS: There will be some weekend cover included in the rota and no Out Of Hours cover. 


  • You will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential including Schedule 3 procedures, theatre work and nurse consults to make this a pet care destination of choice.
  • You will be an ambitious RVN or nearly qualified SVN looking to progress to the next step in your career.
  • This role would suit an experienced registered nurse or nearly qualified SVN with significant clinical experience, great communication and organisation skills, who takes pride in working to a high standard and providing clients with a personal touch.
  • You will enjoy naturally engaging with clients and their pets to build a strong client base.
