Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Taunton

The Role: Due to growth and development, they now have a number of rotational nurse positions available.

Duties:

  • This unique and diverse position is a great stepping stone into referrals from primary care work or a great allrounder for any current referral nurses who enjoy the variety.
  • The individual will be working alongside a highly skilled and passionate nursing and clinician team, providing quality care to patients across all disciplines, including inpatients, day patients, diagnostics, and theatre.

Skills/Exp:

  • Need to be RVN with at least 1 years post-registration experience
  • You will need to have great attention to detail, a desire to develop and grow within the role, a passion for the provision of gold standard care to our patients, and the ability to work closely with the team and independently.
  • Referral and/or theatre experience desirable.
  • Their team is focused on quality and best practices, they actively encourage CPD with a generous CPD budget.
  • There is scope for development within the role.

Hours: This is a full-time role - would consider part-time for the right candidate with shifts between 07:00-20:00 on a rota basis

OOHS: There will be some out of hours with this position however this will give you the opportunity to earn additional on-call retainers.

  • £20 per weekday night on call
  • £25 per weekend night 2nd on call
  • £50 per weekend day/night 1st on call

Typically, an average of 4 weekdays on-call per month. Weekends 1 in 5. Totalling approx. £1000-£1200 per annum in retainers. In addition, time for emergencies is charged at a premium rate of £22.50 per hour.
