Role: Are you an RVN with the passion to make a better world of pets, alongside a skilled team of Nurses? Our client has an excellent opportunity to welcome a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and supportive team!
Your responsibilities:
- They are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their talented and passionate nursing team
- Due to their skilled team of Veterinary Surgeons holding various certificates, they see a vast array of cases and refer very few, meaning you will be exposed to a wide variety of procedures and advanced nursing techniques.
- Their nurse team, equally as skilled in their areas of expertise, also boasts some fantastic longevity in service, one of their team has been with them for over 35 years.
- They pride themselves in their full nurse utilisation, incorporating consults as well as schedule 3 etc. into your working day, providing their nurses with great job satisfaction. Our nursing team includes people with interests in a wide variety of areas including anaesthesia, ECC, and behaviour, therefore, opening the opportunity for you to grow your skills and expertise alongside their experienced team.
- They are also supported by our wonderful Patient Care Assistants who work alongside their nurses to achieve the highest standards of care for their patients.
Hours: Part-time, 17.5 hours per week, Thursdays and Fridays. The position will include some out-of-hours work, and would suit a self-motivated RVN with their own transport who is keen to develop their skills. You can choose between nights or weekends.
Weekends: They have a relaxed 1:13 weekend or 1:10 night rota, plus Saturday mornings 1:8 at the branch dependent on requirements at the individual branches. Weekends and nights are based on the hospital practice.
Salary: In return they offer a competitive salary of up to £12,740 p/a
