We are currently working with a delightful, independently family owned RCVS accredited practice based in leafy Kidderminster, Worcestershire. Our client would like to recruit an enthusiastic small animal veterinary surgeon to join their caring and supportive team.

The Practice:

This is a lovely opportunity to work with a team of 5 / 6 vets, 8 nurses, and their additional support staff who always go the extra mile to offer exceptional veterinary care and advice on the health of their clients’ pets. This is a well-equipped practice with modern facilities including ultrasound, digital x-ray ( dental), laser, piped gases, in-practice lab. 

The Role:

This is a permanent small animal veterinary post working Monday - Friday on a rota -3 x 9.00 - 19.00 & 2 x 9.00-17.00. 1: 5 on-call during the week with the nurse having the on-call phone. 1:4 weekends - Saturday 9.00- 12 noon consulting with the remainder of the time on-call until Monday morning [includes a day off the following Monday]. There is some sole charge required with this role so you must be comfortable with this and they run on 15-minute consults.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be passionate and dedicated to delivering a high standard of care & be able to communicate well at all levels and to work well within a team of dedicated professionals. An experienced vet would be preferred although a recent graduate would be considered as excellent mentoring and support is available. CPD and ongoing development are actively encouraged.
