Practice Type: With a purpose-built practice, they have all of the usual equipment that you would expect in a gold standard veterinary practice. Clinically they encourage and educate their clients on the benefits of preventative healthcare, but their biggest selling point is their practice team and the emphasis that they put on well-being and support. With trained Mental Health First Aiders and Well-being Champions, they strive hard at maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
Team: As part of a 5-vet team and with the support of our 7 fully qualified nurses, you will be expected to deliver a mix of 15 minutes consults or undertake surgical procedures as a part of a mixed diary layout. The team is actively encouraged to develop individual clinical skills and interests.
Duties: Non-surgical days consist of a wide range of first opinion appointments, with an emphasis on case work-up using in-house diagnostic facilities. Fully equipped operating theatre and dental suite mean surgeries are undertaken every day and are performed at a high standard.
Hours: This is a full-time position working 4 days per week 8.30 am - 6.30 pm. The OOH rota is 1:10 weeknights and weekends.
