Permanent Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon - Hampshire 

We are currently working with a lovely, well-rated RCVS accredited independent practice based in Hampshire that is looking for a small animal permanent veterinary surgeon to join their fabulous team. 

The Practice:

This is a delightful clinic that has been providing very high-quality modern veterinary care to its clients for more than 40 years. Their hardworking, committed team of 8 vets, 15 nurses, practice manager, and support staff provide an excellent mix of experience and new ideas to provide a good service to the community. They handle a varied mix of medical and surgical cases & believe that their strength rests in the caring hands of their staff who are encouraged to continue ongoing development to ensure that they are up to speed with current modern methods and techniques.  Teamwork has played a significant part in their success. They are a nurse training centre, recent and new graduate vets are supported and mentored and active case discussions take place all the time. The clinic has a really good loyal client base with a large percentage of insured patients. Services include consultations, referrals, weight watchers clinics, puppy parties, dental care clinics, pet passports, microchipping, vaccinations, kennels. They also have an extensive range of modern equipment including DR radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, ECG, pulse oximeter, blood pressure monitor, piped oxygen, in-house lab.  

The Role:

This is a permanent full-time position working in a good environment Mon - Fri 8.30 - 19.00 [4 to 4.5 day working week] 6-week rotating cycle - Mon - Thurs 2 half days and 2 full days - Fridays alternate between half and full days. 

  • WE: 2:6 Saturday 8.00 - 16.00. 
  • OOHs/On Call: No. 
  • Sole Charge: No. 
  • Branch Work: Possible.
