Se4rch Veterinary Specialists are working with a large multidisciplinary team of veterinary Specialists within the New Forest National Park, Hampshire area who are recruiting for a Specialist Radiologist to join their team.
Permanent Specialist Radiologist - Diplomates of the ECVDI or ACVR- New Forest National Park, Hampshire

Location: New Forest National Park area of Hampshire
Practice: The hospital facility is about to enjoy a £7-million expansion (ready summer 2022). Imaging facilities include a 64 slice Siemens CT scanner with cardiac software, 1.5T Hallmarq PetVet MRI (to be replaced with a new Siemens Altea 1.5T scanner), Samsung RS80, GE Vivid E95, and iQ ultrasound machines, Canon & Fuji Nano direct digital radiography, also Philips Pulsera & Hologic Insight C-arm fluoroscopy.
Team:
- You will work alongside one ECVDI boarded radiologist, one ECVDI board-eligible radiologist, ECVDI-residents and imaging interns, and a support team including three radiographers and nurses.
- You will work within a large multi-disciplinary team of diplomates and residents in Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Neurology, Anaesthesia, and Dermatology.
Hours: This is a full-time, permanent position where you will be working 4 days per week, 08:30-18:30 with a 1 in 4 weekend on-call.
Required skills and experience;
- ECVDI or equivalent residency trained (ECVDI or equivalent specialist status will be prioritised)
- Significant experience working in a Diagnostic Imaging team at a referral hospital
- Diagnostic and reporting experience in English, covering all modalities
- Complete and confident sampling skills set, also to include swallow studies
Would be good to have;
- Peer-reviewed publications and CPD delivery portfolio at recognised events
- Further qualifications and accreditations in Diagnostic Imaging and beyond
- Tele radiology experience reporting all modalities to demanding service level agreements
- Cardio Echo capability and experience
- Previous experience in teaching
