We are working with a long-standing and well respected mixed Veterinary Practice in Ledbury, Herefordshire that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time or part-time permanent basis. In this role, you will be treating small animal patients and our client has specially designed small animal facilities.
The Practice:
Our client has a purpose-built small animal practice that has specially designed areas to provide veterinary services to small animals. They are a fully equipped surgery with the most up to date surgical, diagnostic and anaesthetic equipment, with a complete range of surgical facilities and 24-hour emergency services provided on-site. Their facilities include:
- A dental suite including high-speed burrs and drills, ultrasonic scalers and polishers
- An ECG or electrocardiogram is a monitor
- ECGs are carried out in our X-ray suite whilst patients are conscious
- Hospital wards
- Laboratory: the latest, state of the art, blood testing machines
- They can run regular monitoring and screening profiles for pets with ongoing therapy. Urine testing and in-house microscopy
- Ophthalmology Room
- In-house pharmacy
- A large central preparation area
- Theatres
- Ultrasound suits
- X-ray and imaging room
- Large reception area
- A large car parking area
- A welcoming and friendly team
The Role and Candidate:
This is a full-time permanent role with the exact working pattern to be discussed at the interview, including the weekends and out of hour requirements. Our client is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic vet to join this hardworking team.
