We are currently recruiting on behalf of a dedicated, RCVS accredited practice based in Hampshire who are looking for an enthusiastic and driven RVN to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.
This independent veterinary practice has three practices across the area. They pride themselves on being independent and providing their own out of hours service. They feel that it is important to allow clients and their pets to visit a practice so that they are familiar and comfortable when attending appointments.
They have a fantastic team, with vets studying for certificates in small animal surgery, medicine and equine practice, thus advancing their knowledge, skills and overall expertise in these areas of special interest. They also have dedicated nurses with behaviour and exotic certificates. Within their efficient team, 6 nurses across the 3 practices are trained clinical coaches enabling them to train their students to become fully qualified veterinary nurses.
They make investments in the latest equipment and now offer keyhole surgery to their patients, with their vets having had specialist training to provide this service. They also offer digital radiography, ultrasound, ECG, blood pressure, endoscopy, and dentistry. They have an extensive in-house laboratory with a quick turnaround for test results and operating theatre, complete with the latest anaesthesia monitoring equipment, such as capnography, pulse-oximetry and oesophageal stethoscopes, all contributing to the fantastic range of services on offer. They have separate hospitalisation wards on-site.
The practice also offers a wide range of nurse clinics to promote the best possible care for pets. Alongside the clinics, the highly skilled nursing team carry out consultations including nail clips, postoperative checks, suture removals, dental examinations, micro-chipping, and bandaging. They also run puppy parties for socialisation.
